Pashinyan’s claims about Russia’s calls for coup d’etat in Armenia have no grounds

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s claims about Russia’s alleged calls for a coup d’etat in Armenia have no grounds, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press briefing on Wednesday.

She added that Moscow has never allowed even a hint of such a thing.

“The claims of the Prime Minister of Armenia that you mentioned have no grounds. Russian officials have never allowed even a hint of calls to overthrow legally elected authorities anywhere,” Zakharova said.
