The searches carried out at the homes of Robert Kocharyan, second President of Armenia, and his son Levon Kocharyan, are part of an anti-state program by the RA authorities, said Ishkhan Saghatelyan, MP of the “Armenia” parliamentary faction, in comments to journalists.
According to him, the processes taking place in the country have deeper causes linked to external political demands.
“The issue should be viewed on a larger scale, with a deeper understanding of what is actually happening. In reality, the person who came to power has announced the final dissolution of the Third Republic, legitimizing the capitulation of Artsakh and ethnic cleansing, as well as the creation of the so-called ‘Fourth Republic’ at the demand of Turkey and Azerbaijan. At the same time, he has also openly declared the surrender of new Armenian territories,” Saghatelyan emphasized.
