Authorities signed a deal with Biden, but Trump didn’t even invite them to the inauguration

January 22 2025, 12:52

The inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump took place on January 20. For the first time since 1985, due to cold temperatures in Washington, the inauguration ceremony of the US president was held indoors in the Capitol Rotunda.
Trump, as promised, signed many orders immediately after the inauguration. Let’s mention just a few of them:

1. The US withdrawal from the World Health Organization and the Paris Climate Agreement;
2. Restrictions on obtaining US birthright citizenship;
3. Renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America;
4. Declaring an emergency regime at the southern border of the United States to stop the influx of illegal migrants;
5. Holding former Biden administration officials accountable for illegally disclosing sensitive information;
6. Executive order on TikTok, which assumes ownership of half of the social media service by an American company;
7. Suspension of US foreign aid for 90 days.

It should also be noted that for the first time, not only foreign diplomats but also leaders and politicians from other countries were invited to the event. Right-wing politicians from all over the world were invited to the ceremony: Italian and Hungarian Prime Ministers Giorgio Meloni and Viktor Orbán, Presidents of Argentina and El Salvador Javier Milei and Nayib Bukele, British politician Nigel Farage, French politician Éric Zemmour, Belgian politician Tom Van Grieken, former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. Georgia’s fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, was also among the invited guests.

As you can see, Nikol Pashinyan’s name is not among the listed guests. Pashinyan’s name is missing because he, like Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has not received an invitation from the Trump administration.In fact, despite the propaganda of the authorities regarding the recent signing of the Armenian-US charter, Washington did not consider it necessary to invite Pashinyan to the event. And there may be several reasons for this: the Trump team has not forgotten that during the election campaign, Pashinyan “bet on” the victory of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, and Trump did not consider and does not consider the South Caucasus region Washington’s priority (even in the context of potential pressure on Iran).

It is also important to understand that an invitation to the inauguration is also a kind of guarantee of security and personal integrity from Donald Trump and his administration.

Salome Zurabishvili has this guarantee, which is why the former president of Georgia was among the invited guests. Pashinyan was not among those invited, which means that he has no such guarantees. There were none from the previous administration either.

Think about it…
