Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan did not discuss the unfreezing of Armenia’s participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in their latest phone conversation, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday.
“This topic was not discussed during the latest phone conversation between the president and the prime minister,” Peskov said.
The latest phone conversation between Putin and Pashinyan took place on January 17.
Earlier this day, Armenia’s foreign intelligence service said in its report that Armenia is unlikely to unfreeze its membership in the CSTO in 2025.
