Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Bishkek. Putin noted that relations between Russia and Iran are developing steadily in all areas and are maintaining the dynamics of trade and economic cooperation observed last year, despite the complex military and political situation.

The Russian leader emphasized that Russia stands in solidarity with the people of Iran, who are defending their interests, and admires their courage and resilience. He also asked Pezeshkian to convey his greetings to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Khamenei.
