The people of Artsakh are protesting outside the government building. They are demanding that the Armenian government protect their rights.

“Two months ago, the government promised improvements in social support for Artsakh Armenians, especially in terms of housing. But the only changes have been made in environmental programs—and even those in ways that will not yield positive results or improve people’s situation. Yes, they raised the per capita certification threshold in around 180 communities, but in those areas, unemployment remains a serious issue… On June 23, Artsakh people will receive their final rent subsidy, and people are in a state of confusion—what comes next, when the promised improvements were never implemented? The situation is disgraceful. We don’t know what measures to take anymore to make the government pay attention to this issue,” Mariam Abrahamyan said in an interview with Alpha News.
