Journalist Voskan Sargsyan reported that residents of the village of Movses had been periodically hearing shooting. Alpha News spoke with Sargsyan, asking for details.

“During the night of May 12-13, residents of the border village of Movses in the Berd community periodically heard gunshots. Today, gunfire was also audible from 07:20 to 07:40. The shots were so loud that they could be heard in the town of Berd, despite Movses being located 16 km away. Residents do not know in which direction the shooting was conducted,” the journalist noted.

According to him, with such actions, Azerbaijan is putting psychological pressure on Armenia to achieve new concessions.

“Shooting has become a regular occurrence for local residents. Especially in the last month, the sounds of gunfire were constantly heard at night. People are not panicking—they have experienced worse and heard louder gunfire—but in any case, everything that is happening is worrying. I believe that with such actions, Azerbaijan is trying to put psychological pressure on Armenia to achieve new concessions,” Sargsyan concluded.
