The agreements reached with the US are, on the whole, beneficial for Iran. However, grounds for concern remain, as history shows that it is precisely the United States that has repeatedly failed to honor its commitments. This was stated by Iranian political commentator Pouya Hosseini in a conversation with Alpha News.

“If any party should have cause for concern, it is Iran, as there are no guarantees that the US will follow through on its obligations entirely. Both sides must try to fulfill their commitments in full,” he noted.

Hosseini emphasized that US ally Israel is already making statements about rejecting certain elements of the agreement, in particular, provisions relating to Lebanon.

“Iran will not abandon or violate its commitments. But if the other side breaks the agreements or launches a new attack on Iran, Tehran will respond very forcefully across all fronts,” Hosseini concluded.
