The path traveled by the Civil Contract party, as well as recent statements by its members, in particular, the conduct of Hayk Konjoryan, give no hope that norms of morality will be observed. This was stated by Mesrop Manukyan, MP from the Armenia bloc, in a conversation with Alpha News at the National Assembly.
“Although the attempts by Ruben Rubinyan to bring the situation under control and, to some extent, follow this path should not be underestimated, the overall picture does not inspire optimism,” the MP noted.
According to Manukyan, representatives of the authorities often sidestep substantive issues, such as revelations about high salaries or blatant abuses in state institutions, replacing them with political manipulations.
