Speaking with Alpha News, Teresa Mkhitaryan, President of the Germoglio Foundation, described the events taking place in Tavush as a spiritual war.

“Two days ago, I thought that if I ever write a book, it will be about Nikol, he would make a fantastic devil. This is a spiritual war. After all, how does a person lose? His soul loses first, doesn’t it? Why can’t a person distinguish right from wrong, or the one who lies from the one who tells the truth? Because a person has moved away from the spiritual. To distinguish good from bad, you need the light of God as well as repentance,” Teresa Mkhitaryan said.

Mkhitaryan is sure that Tavush residents already realize what a big catastrophe they are facing, while Yerevan residents do not.

“It seems to me that Yerevan residents do not yet realize the seriousness of the situation, but Tavush residents already understand this. Everything is clear: the gas pipeline will pass through their territory, and our defense will collapse because Tavush has the strongest defense line. The Turks will block the road and go straight to Vanadzor. And the authorities tell fairy tales about how you can make friends with Turks. Listen, you can make friends with Turks under several conditions. For example, if a Turk comes and admits their mistakes,” our interlocutor said.

Mkhitaryan noted that we can achieve success in this struggle only with the help of God.

“Turks attack not only Armenians but also Syria and Iraq. History should show that the Turks have changed. We are really fools because we are people who have turned away from God. We will achieve nothing on our own. Only with God’s help can we defeat evil. Yes, the church is the house of God, and I will be glad if the church supports this fight,” Teresa Mkhitaryan concluded.
