‘This is all from the genre of absurdity’: Samvel Karapetyan’s lawyer

Samvel Karapetyan’s lawyer, Ruben Hakobyan, told journalists that the proceedings against Karapetyan are unlawful.

“Disproportionate coercion has been applied, the right to inviolability has been violated. We firmly believe that the initiation of criminal proceedings, the use of coercive measures, public criminal prosecution, and the filing of charges are all illegal. As Samvel Karapetyan stated during the procedural actions, this is all from the genre of absurdity,” the lawyer said.
