Protests continue against the suspension of operations at enterprises owned by Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP). In addition to Yerevan, rallies are also planned in Tsaghkadzor.

A representative of the “Multi Grand Pharaon” hotel told journalists that the company’s closure has disrupted the tourist season and caused an international scandal.

“We have a strong request to the government to reconsider its decision and reopen the facilities, since thousands of employees have lost their jobs. We have suffered enormous losses on the international stage, especially in the tourism sector. In July alone, we had more than 60 groups scheduled to visit,” he said.
