Prices for agricultural produce fluctuate constantly and are mostly low. If the harvest were exported, that would be very good. This is what one produce seller at the market told Alpha News.
According to him, exporting produce to European countries would provide major support for farmers.
“Last year was better, prices were higher. There isn’t that kind of demand now, trade is at a very low level. We’re barely making ends meet, what can you do,” Alpha News’s interlocutor noted.
