One week before the Feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ, the Armenian Church celebrates Tsakhkazard, the Feast of Palm Sunday, marking the Triumphant Entry of Christ into Jerusalem.

The courtyards of St. George Cathedral and St. Etchmiatsin Church in Tbilisi were crowded with believers who had been given palm branches since early morning.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, a ceremony for the blessing of children was performed in the church.
