Two Yerevan Municipality officials detained on bribery charges

The Anti-Corruption Committee is conducting a search at Yerevan Municipality, specifically within the Public Order Protection Service, the committee responded to a media inquiry.

“Investigative and other procedural actions at the mayor’s office are carried out as part of a criminal investigation by the Anti-Corruption Committee. Two officials of the municipality have been detained on bribery charges. Other details in the interest of the preliminary investigation are not disclosed yet,” the committee said.
