Unknown individuals set fire to family car of Yerevan City Council member Gevorg Stepanyan

The car of Gevorg Stepanyan, a member of the “Mother Armenia” faction of the Yerevan City Council, parked on Mkrtich Sedrakyan Street, was set on fire last night by unknown persons.

Manuk Sukiasyan, the head of the faction, reported live from the scene, showing the car’s condition. He suggested that a bottle of gasoline had likely been thrown inside, as there was a strong smell of fuel.

“Gevorg told us that they woke up to the sound of a bang against the car. Apparently, the window was broken, and a bottle of burning gasoline was thrown inside. This car belongs to Gevorg’s wife,” he noted.
