Until Pashinyan’s salary reaches $300,000, Armenia shouldn’t be compared to Singapore: Chakhoyan

Taron Chakhoyan, MP from “Civil Contract,” said during a briefing at the National Assembly that Armenian society, Armenian journalists, and his colleagues like to compare Armenia to Singapore.

“But first and foremost, it should be noted that the salary of the Prime Minister of Armenia is definitely not $300,000. In that case, is it worth drawing parallels with Singapore? I believe this is something we should strive to achieve. But at this stage, perhaps drawing parallels between Singapore and Armenia isn’t entirely fair,” he said.
