Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reacted to US President Donald Trump’s post on Truth Social about the start of “economic warfare against Iran on an unprecedented scale.”

“The so-called ‘Economic D-Day’ is an attempt to distract from America’s own problems: unprecedented debt and rising interest rates.

Doubling down on failed policy will only bring more defeats and enmity from the Iranian people. Economic terrorism by the US threatens the global economy and sovereignty worldwide,” Araghchi wrote.
