Vera Safaryan, a native of Artsakh and finalist of the “Miss Europe 2022” pageant, dies in a road accident

Vera Safaryan, a native of Artsakh and finalist of the “Miss Europe 2022” pageant, has died as a result of a road traffic accident.
As reported by the “News from Artsakh” Facebook page, she spent nine days in a coma following the accident, but doctors were unable to save her life. Vera Safaryan leaves behind a son.
At the “Miss Europe 2022” pageant held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, Safaryan placed second.
During the 44-day war she took part in the defense of Hadrut. Her father, Artyush Safaryan, was killed during the First Artsakh War.
