‘We expect that the implementation of the peace deal will pave a reliable path to stability in the Caucasus’: CSTO Secretary General

Speaking at a meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly in Bishkek, Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov highlighted positive developments in the South Caucasus.

These developments are, he said, statements by Armenia and Azerbaijan on the completion of negotiations and agreement on the text of an interstate peace document. “We hope for its swift signing and expect that its implementation will pave a reliable path to peace and stability in the South Caucasus,” he said.
