Why the issue of Armenian prisoners does not concern Europe: Gegham Stepanyan

The forcibly displaced from Artsakh are holding a protest in parallel with the 8th European Political Community Summit taking place in Yerevan. Gegham Stepanyan is also present at the protest.

Speaking to journalists, Stepanyan emphasized that Ukrainian prisoners regularly return home, while the issue of Armenian prisoners does not receive attention in Europe.

“During meetings in the United States Congress, when you enter the offices of members of Congress, you see photos of prisoners displayed in many rooms. But we have not seen Armenian prisoners among them anywhere. This is the most important issue,” he said.
