You respond to a mistake with another mistake: Aram Vardevanyan

You respond to criticism or mistakes not by correcting the situation, but with a new mistake. This was said in parliament by Aram Vardevanyan, Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly, addressing lawmakers of the “Civil Contract” faction.

“In the National Assembly, speeches can be sharp, offensive, unacceptable, and so on. What needs to be done in such cases? A warning, cutting off the microphone, or stripping the right to speak at a single session. By the way, back in my very first speech as a candidate for the position of Vice-Speaker, I said that there shouldn’t be a special approach to any one faction, the approach should be the same for everyone. And what did the presiding officer say after our faction made a statement deemed unacceptable? Did you hear it? I won’t repeat it,” Aram Vardevanyan noted.
