The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has retained the forecast for Armenia’s GDP growth at 6.2% for 2024 and 4.8% for 2025, the Armenian Business Portal reports on Telegram.
The growth is expected to slow down from 8.3% in 2023. Economic growth in the first half of 2024 amounted to 6.5%, showing a slowdown compared to previous years. The main impetus for GDP growth came from mining, construction, and the export of precious metals.
