Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he had tested positive for COVID a few days ago and would not attend the upcoming CIS meeting in Russia.
“On Monday, December 23, I tested positive for COVID,” Pashinyan said on social media. “I was in isolation, working from my residence on December 23 and 24. On December 25, I already tested negative, and I am returning to the usual working mode. Nevertheless, having consulted with colleagues, I will not participate in the upcoming informal summit of the CIS in St. Petersburg today. Tonight I will make a decision about whether or not I will participate in the EEU Supreme Economic Council session tomorrow.”
