Bayramov again mentions Armenian Constitution at meeting with Kazakh FM

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed Armenian-Azerbaijani relations with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu during his official visit to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijani media report.

Among other topics, Bayramov commended “the constant support of the Kazakh side to the peace process.” At the same time, Bayramov highlighted the progress made in bilateral negotiations on the draft peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. “The fundamental issue remains the territorial claims against our country in the Constitution of Armenia and a number of legislative acts of this country, as well as Armenia’s stance on preserving the Minsk Group,” he said.

The sides also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest during their meeting.
