Russia has hit the “brain” of the Azerbaijani regime

Russia began to pay attention to something that had gone unnoticed for a long time, including due to the special military operation. There is a significant Azerbaijani diaspora in the country, which not only fails to integrate into Russian society but also carries out a “creeping expansion.” There are many Azerbaijani organizations in Russia that promote the interests of Baku, which is reflected in the creation of parks, squares and streets named after Heydar Aliyev throughout the country.
The Azeri Society has received a grant for the adaptation of migrants, and the Azerros cultural autonomy promotes pan-Turkic ideas among students. Khalid Tagizade, an ethnic Azerbaijani and member of the Russian Duma, even went so far as to describe Siberia as “ancient Turkic land.”
Some believe that the aggravation of relations between Baku and Moscow is caused by the recent crash of an Azerbaijani plane. However, Azerbaijani expansion has a long history, and the disaster only became a catalyst for revealing contradictions between Moscow and Baku.
A further deterioration of relations between Moscow and Baku corresponds to the interests of Armenia and Artsakh. If Aliyev continues to send humanitarian (and possibly military) aid to Ukraine, Russia may increase its support for the Artsakh Armenians, as well as begin receiving representatives of the NKR authorities in Moscow. Perhaps, contrary to the opinion of Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s partner in Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the issue of the return of Armenians to Artsakh will be raised. Of course, if this happens, it will not be driven by Armenia’s interests but by the interests of Moscow. However, in this case, Russia’s interests would align perfectly with those of the Armenian people.
At this critical moment, Armenia must have capable leadership that can seize this historic opportunity. While this may sound cliché, it remains an undeniable truth.
Think about it…
