Montevideo hosts exhibition of Armenian taraz

An exhibition dedicated to Armenian national costumes—taraz—has opened in Montevideo, at the Armenian Embassy in Uruguay. Visitors can explore authentic examples of traditional attire, along with exclusive photographs that highlight the details and beauty of the garments.

The exposition was handed over to the Embassy by the Teryan Cultural Center as a gesture of cultural cooperation. The featured photographs were taken by renowned Yerevan-based photographer Artashes Martirosyan. His works will be included in a future book dedicated to the Armenian national costume and its historical legacy.
