Pashinyan briefs Erdogan on progress of Washington talks

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to update him on the progress of the Washington talks.

The Armenian Prime Minister familiarized the Turkish President with the preliminary signing of the “Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan”, the joint appeal to the OSCE on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, the unblocking of regional communications based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, national jurisdiction and reciprocity, as well as the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity project.

The two sides also addressed matters concerning the Armenia-Turkey bilateral agenda, particularly the implementation of previously reached agreements.
