The Italian magazine Ottiche Parallele has released an inspiring article about Armenia, highlighting its picturesque mountains and hiking trails that offer a deeper connection to the spirit of this ancient land.

The journalists focused especially on the mountain landscapes, describing them as “a reflection of the Armenian soul.” From the majestic Mount Aragats (4,090 m)—the highest point in the country—to the enchanting crater lake atop Mount Azhdahak (3,598 m), rising above the Gegham Range, each trail offers not only breathtaking views but also a profound bond with nature.

Among the recommended destinations are the southern peak of Mount Khustup (3,206 m), the scenic slopes of Vayots Sar (2,581 m) in the Vayots Dzor region, and the windswept ridges of Dimats (2,378 m), located in Dilijan National Park.

“Each summit reveals a facet of the Armenian soul,” the authors emphasize, inviting readers to discover Armenia step by step, trail by trail.
