Samvel Karapetyan being politically persecuted – Liana Gasparyan

The criminal case against businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan has been unlawful from the very beginning, attorney Liana Gasparyan said during a press conference held by Karapetyan’s legal team at the Alpha press center.

“Nearly a month has passed since Samvel Karapetyan’s detention was extended, yet no investigative actions have been carried out during this time,” she said.

Liana Gasparyan questioned the purpose of keeping the businessman in detention for so long. “All of this once again proves that the owner of Tashir Group is being politically persecuted, and there is no rule of law here,” she added.
