Trilateral talks were held in Tehran between representatives of Iran, India, and Armenia, focused on enhancing collaboration within the framework of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC). Special attention was given to the strategic role of the Chabahar Port, which is seen as a key hub for boosting regional transport activity.
This was the third meeting in this format—the previous sessions took place in Yerevan in April 2023 and in New Delhi in December 2024. The delegations, led by Mohammad Reza Bahrami (Iran), Anand Prakash (India), and Anahit Karapetyan (Armenia), agreed to hold the next session in Armenia in 2026.
