Removing Ararat from border stamps is form of national humiliation – Angela Achikgyozyan

Alpha News spoke with Dr. Angela Achikgyozyan, professor and expert in Eastern medical sciences, regarding the removal of Mount Ararat from Armenia’s border stamps.

According to Achikgyozyan, national symbols serve as foundations for self-defense and the preservation of collective memory. “They provide motivation and a sense of purpose,” she said.

She emphasized that removing Ararat from border stamps has no connection to peace efforts.

“This is one of the factors contributing to national humiliation. This administration, these young people—once referred to as nursery-school graduates—are now serving the destruction of our national symbols,” Achikgyozyan stressed.
