Residents of Tavush Province commented on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statement that Armenia is currently experiencing its highest level of prosperity. They noted that they had placed great hopes in him, but life was significantly better in the past compared to now.

“There’s nothing we can point to and say something positive about,” said one respondent.

Another resident noted that prices have risen sharply.

“I’m living worse now than I did back then. Everything has become more expensive. For example, I am disabled—if I take my medications, my pension will not cover the cost. That’s why I don’t take them,” he noted.
