‘War for Azerbaijan is over’ – Hajiyev to Armenian experts

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, stated during a meeting with Armenian experts that for Baku, the war is over, Areg Kochinyan, a member of the Armenian delegation, reported during a press conference.

He noted that Hajiyev asked to convey several messages to Armenian society. According to him, for Baku the conflict has ended, and Azerbaijanis want to move from the current state of “no war” to peace, to build a comprehensive and long-term peace with Armenia.

According to Kochinyan, Hajiyev also said that Azerbaijan has no territorial claims against Armenia.
