About two weeks ago, lawyer Tatevik Soghoyan met with representatives of the International Commission on Missing Persons, which back in 2022 had received a grant from the Kingdom of the Netherlands to conduct research aimed at determining the fate of missing persons during the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. Soghoyan shared details of this meeting in a conversation with journalists outside the government building.

“The organization had carried out extensive research, the results of which were presented in Armenia by its president. Later, the report was published on their official website. From studying the report, I realized that the Armenian government had deceived international partners regarding several points.

According to my information, at the request of the Armenian authorities, the report was removed from the website. And now the organization is concerned that, whereas previously Azerbaijan was obstructing efforts to clarify the fate of the missing, today the Republic of Armenia is also creating obstacles,” she said.
