Catholicos is steadfast just as Mount Ararat is – Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan

It is a pain and a personal tragedy that some of our own people have joined those who seek to destroy the Church—and not only the Church, Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan, Primate of the Diocese of Gougark, told reporters, commenting on the ten bishops who have opposed the Armenian Apostolic Church.

“This is not the Church’s problem; it is the problem of national division,” emphasized the Bishop.

He assured: “The Catholicos is steadfast, just as Mount Ararat is steadfast.”
