Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan condemns campaign against Holy Etchmiadzin

Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, head of the Aragatsotn Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, declared his firm condemnation of the disgraceful and sacrilegious campaign against the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, organized by eight bishops.

“Any step based on lawlessness is doomed to fail, and those who choose this path are destined for historical disgrace. These individuals have either forgotten or deliberately disregarded the fact that they are not street activists or agents of political power, but clergymen who swore an oath before the Holy Altar of God. Their calling is to preserve the unity of the Church, not to sow division,” the bishop emphasized.
