New appointments in Armenian Apostolic Church

By the order of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, personnel changes have taken place in the dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

His Grace Bishop Partev Barseghyan has been relieved of his duties as head of the Gegharkunik Diocese and appointed head of the Swiss Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Acting head of the Swiss Diocese, Archimandrite Gusan Aljanyan, has been relieved of his position.

By another decree, Archimandrite Isahak Poghosyan, spiritual inspector of penitentiary institutions, has been appointed acting head of the Gegharkunik Diocese, the press office of the Holy Etchmiadzin reported.
