Court extends Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan’s arrest for one month, lifting all restrictions

The court has extended for one month the arrest of the head of the Aragatsotn Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan. However, all previously imposed restrictions—such as the ban on visits, except for his mother—have been lifted.

The court partially granted the prosecutor’s motion, who had requested a three‑month arrest.
