US State Department urges citizens to leave Iran immediately

The US State Department has urged its citizens to urgently leave Iran, advising them to use routes through Armenia or Turkey.
Reports indicate that simply holding an American passport may be grounds for detention in Iran. In addition, there is a risk of flight cancellations and internet outages. For this reason, citizens are advised to have a supply of food, water, and medications, and find a secure location.
It should be noted that on February 6, negotiations between the United States and Iran are scheduled to take place in Oman, focusing on nuclear program issues.
