The US plans regarding the construction of small modular reactors in Armenia are “attractive business proposals,” but so far the US has not constructed a single small modular reactor—let alone launched one, or gained any experience in its industrial operation, Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Sergey Shoigu told RIA Novosti.
“Yes, in the US there are several companies engaged in this. Yes, they all have very beautiful business proposals. But, as they say, there are nuances…” he said.
Shoigu added that the Americans, who have not built a single small modular reactor, have no experience in its industrial operation.
