US embassy in Kuwait suspends operations

The US Embassy in Kuwait has suspended operations until further notice amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

“Due to ongoing regional tensions, the US Embassy in Kuwait has canceled all appointments for US visas and American Citizen Services until further notice,” the statement reads.

All scheduled consular appointments—both routine and emergency—have been canceled. The embassy added that it will issue a separate announcement once operations resume.
