Hamlet Manukyan named Europe’s gymnast of the year

European champion, Universiade gold medalist, and World Cup winner Hamlet Manukyan has been voted the best gymnast of 2025 by fans.

The poll was conducted on the official website of the International Gymnastics Federation. Manukyan, 18, received 51% of the votes—more than 1,030,000 in total—which secured him a confident first place.

This victory in the voting became another significant achievement in the rapidly developing career of the young Armenian gymnast, who at just 18 years old is already among the world’s leading athletes.
