Catholicos of All Armenians extends condolences to Iran’s President

Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II has offered condolences to Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian over the deaths of the country’s Supreme Leader, senior officials, and civilians, Iran’s Embassy in Yerevan reports.

“We are deeply concerned about the military actions that have claimed human lives and undermined regional security, as a result of which the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, senior representatives of the authorities, and innocent citizens were killed.

We express our condolences to Your Excellency and offer our prayerful support to the families of the victims, wishing the friendly people of Iran a peaceful and safe life,” the message reads.
