National Assembly Deputy Tadevos Avetisyan has submitted a resignation from his mandate

In accordance with Part 1 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,” National Assembly Deputy of the Republic of Armenia Tadevos Avetisyan submitted a resignation statement on March 26, 2026.

According to Part 2 of Article 155 of the same law, if, following the publication of the resignation statement, the deputy withdraws it in writing within one week, the Speaker of the National Assembly makes a corresponding announcement. If the deputy does not withdraw the statement, a record of the termination of his mandate is drawn up, which is signed and published by the Speaker of the National Assembly. From the moment the record is published, the resignation is considered accepted.

As a reminder, today Tadevos Avetisyan, a deputy from the “Armenia” bloc nominated by the “Armenia” and “I Have Honor” factions, was unanimously confirmed as a member of the Commission for the Protection of Competition and Consumer Rights. 83 parliamentarians voted in favor of his candidacy, with no votes against.
