Russia is not in talks about transferring the concession for managing Armenia’s railways to Kazakhstan. This was stated by Russian Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin.

“First and foremost, I want to emphasize: we do not plan to hand over any concessions to anyone. Furthermore, our colleagues and partners in Armenia have not discussed such matters with us at the official level,” he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It will be recalled that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had previously announced that he had proposed that Russia considers the possibility of selling the Russian concession to a “third friendly party.”
