Law enforcement agencies, which have turned into henchmen of the regime, have brought trumped-up charges against two 18-year-old schoolchildren, brothers David and Mikael Minasyan, as well as Gevork Gevorkyan, a participant in the Artsakh Liberation War. This is stated in the statement of the national civil association “HayaQve”.

“It is obvious that what happened at St. Anne’s Church on Palm Sunday was a deliberate provocation by the head of the administration aimed at insulting the religious feelings of believers.

It is also obvious that after the failure of the provocation, the head of the regime, once again bypassing the law, ordered the participants of the incident provoked by him to be punished.

HayaQve is determined to protect the rights of all our compatriots who have become victims of legal arbitrariness, fully supports Gevork Gevorkyan and the Minasyan brothers and will consistently bring to justice those responsible for this blatant violation of the law,” the statement said.
