“We are poor because neither factories nor jobs have been opened, we are forced to leave for Russia”: survey in Shirak
Residents of the Shirak region of Armenia took part in the survey, noting that the authorities have done nothing to eradicate poverty.
“There is no work, if they had at least built plants or something, people would have jobs. We’re barely making ends meet these days. Shouldn’t the government take care of these citizens?” one of the Shirak residents expressed his opinion, speaking about the policy of the current government.
“The government must create conditions for the population to live. Not to give money, but to create jobs,” said one of the survey participants.
According to citizens, the government’s fault is that people, no matter how much they want to, still don’t have the opportunity to earn money and provide for themselves.
“We are poor because neither factories nor jobs have been opened. We are forced to leave for Russia,” one of the respondents emphasized.
