Yevgeny Petrosyan, a Soviet and Russian performer of Armenian origin, People’s Artist of the RSFSR, humorist writer, and TV host, told Alpha News near the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Lord of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Moscow that he had come to honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the call of his heart and persuit for love.
“We came at the call of our hearts and persuit for love. We came to honor the memory of our great martyrs. And this is something we need above all, then they will help us as well. Because there is still a connection; that is what God teaches us. May they rest in heaven,” Petrosyan said.
