Armenian and Moldovan NGOs working to discredit Russia: Russian Security Council

Alexey Shevtsov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, said at the conference “Contours of a New Architecture of Collective Security: Current Issues of Information and Analytical Partnership of CSTO” in Moscow that many non-governmental organizations in Armenia and Moldova are engaged in discrediting relations with Russia.

“If we look at the statistics, around 14,000 NGOs are registered in Moldova and about 9,000 in Armenia. While not all of them, a significant portion is clearly working to discredit bilateral ties and integration processes in the near abroad,” Shevtsov noted.
